John liked chocolates very much, but his mother never gave him any, because they were bad for his teeth, she thought. But John had a very nice grandfather. The old man loved his grandson very much, and sometimes he brought John chocolates when he came to visit him. Then his mother let him eat them, because she wanted to make the old man happy. One evening, a few days before John’s seventh birthday, he was saying his prayers in his bedroom before he went to bed. “Please, God” he shouted, “make them give me a big box of chocolates for my birthday on Saturday”. His mother was in the kitchen and she heard the small boy shouting and went into his bedroom quickly. “Why are you shouting, John?” she asked her son, “God can hear you when you talk quietly” “I know” answer the clever boy with a smile, “but Grandfather’s in the next room, and he can’t”.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Anna et je suis une élève du lycée Mkhitar Sebastatsi. Dans notre école, nous apprenons de nombreuses langues, y compris le français. En fait, c’est difficile pour moi de l’apprendre mais j’essaie. Pour l’instant, je peux lire un peu en français et compter. Cette langue est vraiment très belle, mais compliquée. Je vais continuer à l’apprendre et je suis sûr que si je fais plus d’efforts, j’y arriverai.

Առցանց ուսումը սկզբում այդքանել հասկանալի չէր, բայց որոշ ժամանակ անց այն դարձավ հարմար : Առցանց ուսման ընթացքում սկսեցի ավելի շատ աշխատել եւ դասերը դարձել են ավելի մատչելի ինձ համար: Առաջընթաց ունեցա անգամ մաթեմատիկայից:

Jamie: Hi, I called earlier to book a table for four and I was wondering if I can make it for six instead?

Staff: Ah, what name was it?

Jamie: It’s Jamie.

Staff: Table for four at half past seven. So you want to change it to 6 o’clock?

Jamie: No, sorry. Can I make it for six people?

Staff: Oh, I see. Sorry! That shouldn’t be a problem. I can move you to a bigger table but it will be nearer the kitchen. Is that OK?

Jamie: No problem. Is it possible to change the time as well? Make it a little bit later?

Staff: Ah … yeah, we can. Is eight OK for you?

Jamie: Perfect, thanks!

Staff: Lovely. See you tomorrow, then.

My favorite armenian is Charles Aznavour.

Actually, it is very hard to choose one very famous Armenian because there are a lot of Armenians who are very popular, educated. But I have one favourite, though my peer has also chosen him, as I like him so much, I also chose him as my favourite. What I like about him is that he had a very difficult childhood, he was a very poor guy but he became a well known popular singer, the legend of French chanson, composer and actor. He is the author of 1300 songs and has sold 200 million copies of discs all over the world.
Shahnur Vakhinak Aznavuryan is the real name of the world-famous French chansonnier of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour. His mother was born to an Armenian family who lived in Turkey.

Charles Aznavour has always been proud of being as an Armenian, he had done a lot of charities to Armenians, especially during the earthquake.

A year later, the artist created a music video for the song “For You, Armenia”, which was shot by 90 singers and actors. The single has a circulation of 1 million copies. In 2001 Chansonnier supported the decision of the French Parliament to recognize the Armenian people’s genocide, and a year later the film “Ararat” by Atom Egoyan was released, which touched upon this vital topic. Charles Aznavour played Edward Saroyan’s main character in the film.
On October 1, 2018, Charles Aznavour died at the age of 95. The great musician died in his house in the south of France. According to doctors, Aznavour was in the bath when he developed lung swelling. This led to cardiorespiratory failure. An accidental drowning as the cause of death is ruled out.
